#IfILiveInDarkness Short Story Writing Competition 2017
In conjunction with International Anti-Corruption Day on 9 December 2016, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) launched the Short Story Writing Competition #IfILiveInDarkness, which was opened to all students from Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, Institutes of Technical Education in Singapore. Participants were to write in not more than 800 words, how life would be for them, their families and friends if they live in a city tainted with corruption, greed and decadence. Competition was recently closed on 30 April 2017.
Results
By the closing date, the CPIB had received 275 entries, of which 154 were shortlisted. These shortlisted entries were then evaluated by a panel of 3 judges based on the relevance to theme and command of english. Here are the results of the competition:
